Roles of a Live-in-Nanny
- Guaranteeing the safety and well-being of children by providing compassionate and attentive care 24 hours a day.
- Promoting the growth and creativity of children by involving them in activities that are appropriate for their age, both indoors and outdoors,.
- Organizing and planning educational activities, outings, and interactive playtime to encourage the children’s learning.
- Assisting with daily activities, such as cleaning, dressing, and feeding.
- Serving and preparing nutritious refreshments and meals for the children.
- Maintaining open communication regarding the children’s progress, requirements, and any apprehensions by working in conjunction with their parents.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the children’s dwelling and play areas.
- Assisting with minor domestic tasks that are pertinent to the children’s welfare.
- Accompanying the family on excursions, vacations, and events as necessary.
- Promoting positive behavior in children and offering emotional support.
Profile
- Prior experience as a live-in nanny, preferably in a comparable capacity and with multiple children.
- A compassionate nature and a genuine affection for working with children.
- A comprehensive comprehension of the development of children and the selection of activities that are adequate for their age.
- Capacity to establish a stimulating and nurturing environment for children.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Valid first aid and CPR certifications (or a willingness to obtain them).
- Eligible to work in the United Kingdom on a legal basis.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English.
