As Care Support Worker you will provide support to vulnerable adults with care needs, helping them to stay safe and happy in their own homes and to give family members a break so they can continue to care.

Roles of Health Care Support Worker:

  • Build strong and supportive relationships with unpaid carers and people with care needs so person centered care can be provided to meet their identified needs.
  • Provide personal, social, and domestic care.
  • Treat everyone with respect and dignity including provision of choice in how their care is delivered
  • As Care Support Worker you will provide support to vulnerable adults with care needs, helping them to stay safe and happy in their own homes and to give family members a break so they can continue to care.

Profile

  • To make a good Care Support Worker you will need to have good written and verbal communication skills.
  •  A calm and caring manner. 
  • You don’t need to have previous experience, anyone new to care will be enrolled on the Care Certificate with full pay and you will be provided with a full induction for all new staff.
