We are a dedicated team providing high quality general medical services to our growing patient population. Our clinical team of 12, which is lead by our 3 GP partners, is supported by our reception/dispensary/administrative and management teams.
Roles of Health Care Assistant:
- Routine BP
- 24 hour BP
- Spirometry
- ECG
- Doppler (assisting practice nurse)
- Weight checks (patients on weight reducing diets only)
- Urinalysis
- The health care assistant will maintain accurate patient records and results books
- Prepare samples for collection
- Stock ordering to include blood bottles, gloves, dressings and other prep and treatment room supplies.
Profile
- IT Including Microsoft Office Applications
- Good Communication Skills
- Good Interpersonal Skills
- Good Time Management Skills
- Use of EMIS clinical system
- Phlebotomy
- Previous General Practice Experience
- Good standard of general education
- Recognised HCA qualification
