Xtracare Ltd is seeking the expertise of a Health Care Assistant. This is a family run company operating since 2002 and contracted with Kent County Council, providing high quality care and support to our service user’s living in their own homes.
Roles of Community Health Care Assistant:
- As Care Support Worker you will provide support to vulnerable adults with care needs, helping them to stay safe and happy in their own homes and to give family members a break so they can continue to care.
- Build strong and supportive relationships with unpaid carers and people with care needs so person centered care can be provided to meet their identified needs.
- Provide personal, social, and domestic care.
- Treat everyone with respect and dignity including provision of choice in how their care is delivered.
Profile
- You Must be able to drive with the use of own car and a mobile phone
- You must use the company care system for logging calls and information
- You must have a good standard of written and verbal English and be able to communicate effectively
- You must keep up-to-date with all training as required
- You must be able to remain calm and show patience and understanding of service users’ needs
- You must be able to work alternate weekends or a Saturday or Sunday each week. (two weekdays off when working weekends)
- Employment subject to Proof of Eligibility to Work in the UK, Enhanced DBS checks and satisfactory references.
